The other horrible thing about the BreadTube revival is we’re gonna get whole new generations of useless idiots talking about how they were “deradicalized” into slightly different forms of obnoxious misogynistic debatelords
Happy place

i've seen this on my dashboard three times already. we learned absolutely nothing whatsoever. nothing. nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing.
this is who you are telling people to vote for unconditionally in 2 years without any question whatsoever. maybe you should hold off on that, look at their reaction to this loss and rethink how we got into this position in the first place.
"The 2012 election was NORMAL" yeah rick santorum taking his still born baby home and cuddling it was very normal.
"I miss the time when republicans were NORMAL" they were saying this shit about gay people in 2003

Biden and harris had 4 whole years to institute federal level protections for trans peoples access to gender affirming healthcare our right to find homes and employment without facing discrimination our right to use public bathrooms that match who we are without being harassed instead more bills violating our rights and legislating us out of public spaces were passed under their watch than under trump's harris couldn't even bring herself to take a concrete stance about us for fear of alienating transphobic right wingers if she'd won it wouldn't have made any difference she'd just stand by and watch our rights further erode with idle disinterest at least democrats on the backfoot have to pretend they give a shit.
while fascism easily produces justifications for colonialist & imperialist violence, & fascist states in history have engaged in such violence before, it is not the originator of colonialist or imperialist violence, nor is it the only ideology capable of justifying the deployment of colonialist or imperialist violence
if u wanna critique the usa for the violence its built upon, u need to acknowledge that that violence was wrought in the pursuit of life, liberty, and property; u also need to acknowledge the historical relationship between liberalism & fascism, where fascist groups run a final defense for the nation's capital against encroaching socialist movements (michael parenti's blackshirts & reds digs into this if u wanna learn more)
to call any state that has done massacres as simply "fascist" is to water down the utility of it as a meaningful descriptor of an ideology, & gives leeway to other ideologies that have had genocides & ethnic cleansing done under their banner; genocides & ethnic cleansing done throughout the world & for several centuries even, in the case of liberalism
id prefer you to vote only after doing enough research on the topic instead of just upon hearing of this theory for the first time.
just you wait until justin retires and reunites with his biofam in cuba to become a whistleblower😌
no american on this site remembers the tea party or birtherism or any hundreds of other stuff about their own country which is why they're constantly saying that everything is just weird now

doctors in gaza are putting aside their own well being to ensure that the wounded get medical attention and stay alive somehow. they have seen some of the worst injuries ever. they're performing surgeries without anaesthesia and holding the hands of their patients, trying to console them and distract them from the pain.
there has been no aid in gaza since may and medical supplies are running low. there are so many wounded and so little resources to take care of them. despite all these hurdles, healthcare workers in gaza are doing a great job and helping as many people as possible.
we need to protect doctors in gaza. they're being deliberately targeted and their lives are at risk. dr. shahd works in a hospital in gaza. she is fundraising to ensure that she can buy necessities and evacuate once it is possible. please help her keep herself and her family safe.
