I'm personally getting tired of people claiming every show is copying something else, like why does it matter? The concept of the multiverse came long before spider-verse and it's going to be a thing long after it

1. They are alike in having dreads and being punk playing a guitar, but I don't see anything similar that would indicate him copying Hobie, like his dreads are styled completely different??
2. Marshall Lee was already a punk musician back in 2013 bc his female counterpart- Marceline- was already, as was Hobie's original comic incarnation
3. I have nostalgia which connects me to original Marshall, but new Marshall is cool af; they can both coexist (I will be drawing both again probs)

Example:
In the theatrical version, Miles is the one who thinks to himself "The spider that bit me...wasn't from my dimension", while in the digital release it's Miguel's voice echoing it from a previous scene.
Here Miles had those signature onscreen comic panels that showed what he was thinking, but now they're gone bc he's just replaying Miguel's words in his head
Like I wanted to hear Miles continue his panicked inner thoughts man it added to the scene more smh
