“Black Angels” is a mini collection I created inspired by Eartha Kitt’s song “Paint Me Black Angels; Angelitos Negros” from the 1950’s asking for artists to represent black people in art. I combined modern fashion trends from black culture with ancient art to depict black angels. I’ve been working on this for a year now and made everything myself, the design & the clothes.
