Zack Snyder’s design of Steppenwolf askin’ the question,

I have to give it to Snyder, he somehow made Steppenwolf look EVEN STUPIDER than he did in the theatrical cut. Jack Kirby’s Fourth World has such a great aesthetic with these very clean, bold designs that really stand out and feel unique. 

How hard was it to just give a guy some pale, greenish makeup and dress him up in a neat Kirby-esque costume? Like, I get that Steppenwolf’s hat is kind of goofy, but he’s still got this great faux-medieval huntsman look which could actually be really, really badass with the right costume designer, and instead they make him something that Bayformers would reject for being too busy.
