Did You Know: if you get to the airport early enough in the morning, you can look through the big windows and watch them shovel oats and alfalfa into big troughs for the planes

I know it looks cute, but the airplanes only line up for food when their enclosure isn’t enriching enough.

that might be true of smaller airports where the planes spend more time on the ground, but at large international airports, the planes get tons of enrichment from socializing with one another and lots of exercise flying, so it’s actually fine that their enclosures aren’t much more than a space for them to rest.

This is cute but also terrifying

reading smut with one piece men

cw : not proofread, mentions of smut but nothing too explicit, mentions of sex, use of words like "pussy" or "clitoris", mentions of squirting, modern setting

how Luffy would have gotten his scar if Uta has stayed on Fuusha

@bicth69 said I should put Luffy in this meme and i was like you are correct then I kept going lmaooo

They never spend long time on Luffys trauma.

But Im sure there is a whole case study that can be done of Luffys psyche.

How he avoid being alone with his own thougths. Do anything to keep people around him. Keep making noises. No fear for his own safety. And so on. There is alot.

I also have the headcanon that he has face blindness. Doesnt have anything to do with trauma, but it has about his mind.

My neighbor's young kid was singing this while they were gardening, but couldn't remember the lyrics. Her mom shouted "anyone know the rest of the lyrics to 'Jingle Bells Batman Smells'?"

The rest of the neighbors, all working class adults, all chimed in with different parts of song. It really is oral tradition at this point.

1. Ah Fai was a chief animator for McDull’s animated features. He’s super cool. Ultimate senpai.

2. Previous post on breakdowns right here

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful.

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha

HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS

whERE WAS THIS MY ENTIRE LIFE??

on the geometry lessons you probably ignored because you were so artsy (but that’s ok and not so much your fault because your nerd teacher probably didn’t know this could be useful for arts)

Something about all of the high tech stuff in Zelda games being ancient. Something about all of the settlements in the midst of all the ruins. Something about how there’s always life despite it all, in the sky, on the ground, in the water, volcanoes, forests, deserts, anywhere, everywhere. Something about how life always survives, even if it’s not exactly like what it was like in the past. Something about how the end of the world was long ago and right now but no matter what, life is still there, was there, will always be there. Something about healing music. About standing together and about being alone but never truly alone, not really.

I don’t know… I just think it’s good

childhood emotion of wanting a dragon that is your friend so bad that it feels like there is a vacuum in your soul that only a dragon who is your friend can fill

Preach! I remember me, my sister and her friend all trying to genuinely trying to summon any sort of dragon for years.
