One more mentor- Stormy Lake. I met Stormy when I was between Level 1&2 of Healing Touch. She was in the middle of Eden Energy Medicine certification.
There was so much going on with me spiritually, that wasn’t covered in the Healing Touch program. Its focus is on energy healing techniques for hospital patients.
That is the thing about a mentor- they do not have to help you. They step in because they want to, when they are most needed.
Stormy and Mary both stepped in to help me when they noticed that I was drowning in a sea of awakening, that had nothing to do with my classes.
I was getting the immersion treatment, from the spiritual realms. If I had told you I saw lockdown coming back in 2018, would you have believed me? I have always been able to see years ahead.
They both helped me immensely with my clairvoyant abilities, to both ground and tone them down. Stormy took the time many times to explain things to me fully, even if it took a few hours.
I am forever grateful to her for her guidance and for helping me navigate the beginnings of a spiritual business.
I still count Stormy among my friends and I do call her when I have a client who needs her expertise. We all have different skill sets and gifts.

This is another one of my mentors, Gail Hardinger-McCarthy. She was the holistic healer for all of my crunchy momma friends.
Gail is a nurse and reiki master, and healing touch teacher. She was the first healer I met and worked with.
I took Healing Touch 1 from Gail. She worked in the hospital, giving Healing Touch treatments to patients.
The closest hospitals to Orlando that offer Healing Touch to patients are in Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale, so that is where I finished my HT program.
Gail has been a light in my life since I met her. Every time I talk to her she encourages and guides me, and cheers my successes.
One of her first comments to me was, “you were always meant to be a healer”. I didn’t know what that meant 10 years ago, but she was right. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Hopefully one day we will have a paid position in Orlando hospitals for Healing Touch like hers. Until then, I offer HT techniques in my private practice.

This is another one of my mentors, Carolyn Green. She came on board with me during my Healing Touch program Level 4 & 5.
Carolyn, otherwise known as the Energy Nurse, guided me through my first 100 client treatments and gave me advice on how to grow.
Part of certification was exploring many different modalities ourselves and writing a summary of each one. I learned about all kinds of healers.
Carolyn has a gift for psychic mediumship and published a book. She was making her own Angel cards when I was working with her.
Without her guidance, I would not be who I am today. I am so grateful to have worked with her.
Mentoring really matters! My interns complete the reiki classes with me and my mini class content, and then practice with me to complete their 50 sessions.

This is one of my mentors, Mary Shutan. She was an admin of several spiritual online groups and always had a calm manner and way to give answers and advice.
I learned so much from her. We became friends and she started filling in those things that were missing from my spiritual classes.
Over time her blog posts and her own group became bigger and bigger and so did her online classes. She now has four books in print.
I was fortunate enough to be a reader when she was proofing her first book. She also taught me mediumship and about other spiritual practices.
That was five years ago. I am so grateful for all that she taught me. She now only mentors a select number of students.
