The consent talk this season was something so fucking important. It really really was. I’m proud of the boys and I know it’s basic human rights and decency. But do you guys understand how important that scene was for queer youths to see??? That’s shit I did not get as a teenager, queer teen or not. There was hardly even talks of consent in schools.

Cheers to Heartstopper for being one of the very few teen romance shows that doesn't make a big deal out of prom. Like yes, the characters are excited about making a grand entrance with cute outfits..... But that's literally all there is to it. Prom isn't life-changing, it's quite frankly boring, as Charlie mentioned. I loved how the group ditched prom and went to Nick's place to have fun.
The level of obsession with Nick Nelson that I've rekindled over the course of the last four days is definitely unhealthy, and frankly, I'm fine with that. BRING ON THE SOFT GOLDEN RETRIEVER BOI, I am here and ready to neglect my responsibilities
I can't get over how good season 2 of Heartstopper is
Like it's a problem, I can't stop thinking about it. Season 1 is still my favorite, just because it's become really familiar and comforting. But season 2 y'all!!
I love the fact that they took the time and fleshed out side characters from the comics and added some representation here and there, and even moved events and dialogue from the comics to different places to accommodate these changes. Like. WOW. So well done 🥰

yes, food is fuel. but it is also for pleasure. it is also enjoyable. it is also emotional, personal, intimate. food is fuel, yes, but that does not make you a machine. you are allowed to eat something just because you want it, just because it sounds good, regardless of the nutritional properties. food is a shared human experience bridging across our entire existence. to reduce it to something as simplistic as fuel denies us the emotional connection that food contains. food is fuel, yes, but it is also so much more than that.
