" My pronouns aren't your business shitlord "

dnd jokes that will always be funny no matter what your dm tells you

  • "jesus christ" "who's that"
  • "this is just like (tv show/movie)" "that's my favorite play"
  • referring to famous musicians or actors from the real world as "bards"
  • adding the word "fantasy" in front of modern things (i pull out my Fantasy iPhone and open Fantasy Tinder)
  • "how hurt are you" "on a scale of one to twenty-eight i'd say i'm at about a nine."

feel free to add more

i hate seeing people now making fun of those who care about privacy online. i've seen people saying things like "well they already have your data. what are companies going to do with it" and it's like, that's not the point. it's that companies /shouldn't/ be able to have my data and sell it. am i aware they probably already have my data? yes, absolutely. but i'm still going to try and keep them from monetizing it any further, why are we defending companies selling data they shouldn't have to begin with though?

really jealous of people who can just... do things. like they dont go through the 39 stages of grief before and the 47 stages of grief after. they just do it like its some adidas commercial. like the spirit of shia laboeuf possessed them. still sounds fake to me but whatever. good for them ig

Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.

In light of the Zepotha Contest

ARTIST DO NOT WORK FOR FREE. This “competition” is just free advertising and does not help the various art communities. This is someone who is asking for free work, and will continue to use this work even after this “price money”. This means no royalties for commercial use, anyone who enters and doesn’t win just gave up intellectual property.

Plz don’t do this. If this creator honestly wanted to collaborate with someone they could and make this a proper project. I’m already seeing tik toks of people interested. I know the font is a little different because it’s an independent artist over a big company. But it’s the same thing.

This honestly pisses me off to see a creator take advantage of a situation like this. Eager Artists wanting to jump on a trend. I know the videos created about it were already “free advertising” but at least the OP didn’t have any rights to it.

the problem with zepotha is also that everyone on tiktok is just so obsessed with “being apart of the trend” and “getting views/recognition” that zepotha just lacks so much,,,heart and creativity. like yes slowly there is some lore that is being developed and more consistency on what characters are important and even a few cosplays and edits. but still the “main thing” they do to “gaslight” people into believing this movie is real is just,,,take the oNE idea the creator of the trend had (which is to write “you look like [fake character] from zepotha” in every comment section) and that’s it. like currently every bigger video has at least 10 comments of this kind and most of the top zepotha videos are just bigger creators saying they look like a character/have been casted to play a character in the reboot. and it’s just so…cold and lifeless. everyone is just trying to get their five minutes of fame instead of actually finding joy in creating and because of that people are already getting tired and sick of the trend barely two days after it has been started.

The "Zepotha" trend on tiktok makes me SICK as an indie slasher fan. Why did they choose the name "Zepotha?" Name one fucking indie slasher from the 80's that isn't called something like House of Guts. "Zepotha" would be the name of an arthouse horror from the 70's created by a giallo-obsessed Johnny-come-lately director from New Jersey. Zepotha would be brought up in every other "obscure horror recs" thread on reddit until it became a circlejerk meme to even mention it.

"Oh you sound so mad, you sound like you just want to gatekeep--" I DO! I'M GATEKEEPING! None of these people even like slashers! They can barely make it through Fear Street, and then they still make fun of effects that aren't Marvel-sweatshop-grade CGI! You expect them to be able to create a fictional slasher movie with the conviction that this site had when it created Goncharov? Get! Off! Of! My! Lawn!

Idk what teenager needs to hear this but you're not being too sensitive. It is fucked up and unconscionable to deliberately antagonize and provoke people as a joke. When you're an adult, people who do that are called "fucking assholes" and nobody gets weird about you not wanting to hang out w/ them because they don't wanna hang out w/ them either.
