Utilized these to supplant 2011 Tacoma entryway speakers (combined with Infinity Reference 075tx 3/4" tweeters). Amazingly satisfied with the sound. Utilizing Rockford Fosgate Punch P400 x 4 amp. 6x9's on the front channel and tweeters on the back (to kind of go about as hybrid - more power/bass to 6x9's). Introduce requires mounting connectors. Had a go at making my own however fitment between door jamb/window glass and entryway board is tight in spots and I didn't need any rattles or harm of the cone encompass. The inherent tweeters on the 6x9's are calculated and don't turn so I calculated them up towards my ears. This puts the wire associations/hybrid to finish everything. Tacoma stock speakers have plastic over the best (I'm expecting to shield them from water trickling inside the entryway FYI water gets in the entryway). A few people griped about blown hybrids in these speakers so I simply secured the rear of the speakers with thick plastic sheet to keep them dry.
