funny thing about sqq is that he would HATE HIMSELF if he were written into pidw canon as rando wife #304. he absolutely despises this character who keeps leading lbh on and i am 100% sure he would be posting on forums about how either the wife self insert is taking advantage of lbh’s devotion and/or being an obtuse oblivious idiot on purpose. and when they get together (FINALLY) he rants about how it’s soooo unhealthy and toxic and lbh does NOT deserve to have such a stingy wife that doesnt love him back etc etc

this just endeared me to squirtle more than anything ever has that’s one thing I love about art featuring Pokémon it helps bring life and personality into them beyond what a game can do
Toxel is SO funny
-It looks like a weird cartoon dinosaur from a show for toddlers. When I first saw it leaked I thought it was a purple triceratops but with one big horn in the middle of its head instead of three.
-Is a literal baby. Not even a baby pokemon, the baby pokemon. A baby. It throws tantrums. It looks like it’s wearing a diaper. This doesn’t have anything to do with the theme of its evolution line. Nothing to do with poison, electricity, sound, guitars, nothing! It’s just. A baby.
-Is so small that if you have one follow you in the dlc it completely disappears in the grass. And if you walk up to the water on a beach it’s just entirely underwater except for some spikes at the very top of its head.
-Is also so slow that if you have one follow you you have to wait like half a minute for it to catch up. And that’s on foot, god forbid you try to make one follow you on a bike. At that point just pick it up, carry it, put it in your backpack anything would be more efficient.
-And this dumb silly little creature. Evolves into what is one of if not the most creative and best designed pokemon in the Galar region. That has two awesome forms and the most badass gmax ever. There’s no middle stage, it goes from stupid hilarious baby straight to punk rock monster with spiked mane of pure electricity. No stones, no friendship, no further conditions required. Reach a certain level and it is no longer baby, it wants power.

Remake of my old percussion instrument inspired line! Parumpum is now based on a pair of bongos, while Dokuduru is now a guiro!

Type: Ghost/Water. Becomes Normal/Water when disguise fades
Ability: Disguise
Dex: Selkreeper Appear to be fearsome beasts that roam cold waters- when in reality they are very weak, skittish, and frail. Packs of them put on makeshift disguises out of discarded materials to scare away predators, but if they lose their cloak they are left vulnerable.

Like I mentioned in an ask, these are based on my two pet rats, Mabel and Belle. The fairy typing was just perfect and I did my best to incorporate their two fur patterns into these designs. Mabel has the dark top and white bottom with a dark line going down her back. Belle has a dark body with a white tummy and a dark “belly button” in the middle. I’m very happy with how these came out <3
I have recently come to understand the true charm of sandshrew and sandslash the evolution line has quickly gone up in my list of favorite Pokémon
