• Enty opens with, “you know, when the whole Taylor Swift thing came out, I realized we don’t know a whole lot about Scooter. we know who he represents but, he is kind of a secretive figure.”

• Enty does not believe that scooter will ever do an interview about the BM purchase, but if he does it will be with someone who will kiss his butt and only throw softball questions
• if you look at scooter as a manager- he is not that great of a manager- there is a reason people fire him including Ariana- who fired him once, but took him back
• sure Justin Bieber became a huge star, but that was not scooter alone there was a massive amounts of help from other people like Usher for example
• John Doe, Enty’s favorite Twitter user, has a theory that scooter Braun actually trafficked Justin Bieber into the United States. if you look at the definition of human trafficking Justin and scooter fit... there is definitely an argument to say that this is exactly what Scooter did- he exploited someone who was under age, Who was also an illegal immigrant, for money. keep in mind, human trafficking is not always about sex. sometimes it’s about slavery, or having control over someone in perpetuity

• scooter has said in the past that he would wake up every day and be scared there was going to be a phone call saying that Justin was dead due to a drug overdose. you would think that a good manager would try to help their client- especially your most important client! you would think that a manager would try to do everything in their power to help but we have seen no evidence of that
• there are plenty of people who have quit scooter because all he cares about is money and fame and power and himself
• he has shown to be a manager that does not really care about the well-being of his clients. he tends to overwork them until his artists are depressed or self-medicating
• Arianna has talked before about how overbearing and grueling scooter is. she says she doesn’t remember a big chunk of her life being managed by scooter, because it was all a blur. she talked about this recently (again) and the thing in common with both of these periods of time is that she was being managed by scooter
• this time, the spin on Ariana’s issues, is that they are all blamed on the Manchester bombing, but the first time she complained about scooter the bombing hadn’t even happened yet so what was the excuse then??
• When scooters clients need a break to care for their mental health, he does not care- he continues to work his artists
• Justin Bieber has not been the same over the past few years is it because he was overworked and never was allowed to take a real break?
• Justin has been working since he was 14 years old being at a music studio as a child is much different than being on a TV or movie sets. sets have child labor laws. this does not apply in the music studio. it’s very different. when Justin was in a music studio, he was the only minor there and he was surrounded by adults, with very adult habits, for 18 hours a day.
• another example of how bad scooter sucks as a manager is with the artist Tori Kelly- you see her in a lot of places, and she’s very talented and has some good songs, but you see how scooter struggles to market her. her song, unbreakable smile charted at number two, but other than that there’s not much else... she’s been around for nearly a decade yet has not manage to completely breakthrough in the US market and that’s the managers fault.
• Justin Bieber came to scooter with a built-in YouTube audience. Ariana Grande came to scooter with a built-in Victorious/Sam & Cat audience. she already had millions of followers! there wasn’t a whole lot of work scooter had to do with either of them- they were already famous.
• anytime scooter gets his hands on an artist where there is real work to be done- real promotion that needs to take place- it seems to always crash and burn
• scooter had a Psy (Gangnam Style) as an artist and totally blew the opportunity to break into the K-pop music scene first. where scooter failed,so many others made huge careers. look at BTS and BLACKPINK for example!!
• scooter also failed with the boy band, The Wanted. scooter encouraged them to act like a rock band- even though that’s not what they were- he pushed the bad/scandalous behavior, and the band eventually broke up due to having so much bad press and so many dramatic issues
• “this encouraging to behave badly, that’s kind of what Scooter does. The New York Times called him out on it after Ariana did her donut licking.”
• Ariana fired scooter in 2016, but scooter never wanted to admit it. he didn’t want people to know that she had fired him. he enjoyed the pretense of people still assuming he represented her.
• what has scooter really done for Kanye? NOTHING. Kanye was another established talent. with a little bit of good management, Kanye could be back on top, regarless of his personal issues. scooter just sucks as a manager. the 2 main things that Kanye has right now, his yeezy shows and the Sunday service- scooter had nothing to do with either of those ideas
• remember when scooter tried to do the “Who is Fancy” thing?? epic fail for the most part.
• scooter failed Carley Rar Jepsen too. what happened to her after “Call Me Maybe” a MONSTER HIT. it spent 6 months on the charts, but that was not due to scooter. what helped push that song was the lip dub video Justin, Selena, Ashley Tisdale and Big Time Rush made! so even when it’s delivered to scooter on a silver platter, he still can’t be a good manager.
• “You [scooter] was given the biggest single of all time and what did he do with it? NOTHING.”
• what about Cody Simpson?? scooter started managing Cody in 2011. this was horrible management. horrible, horrible, horrible. scooter really screwed up- in 2015 Cody split with his record label, and much like Taylor leaving Big Machine, Cody’s label said “fine go” and they kept all his masters, but then they also wiped his YouTube page, they took EVERYTHING AWAY. a decent manager would NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN. NEVER.
• Cody signed with his label when he was 13. by the time he was 18, he was done. what has he done since? nothing.

• scooter now owns Taylor’s music catalog- bc he acquired Big Machine, which was Taylor’s label since 2006

• A lot of what Scott Borchetta wrote on his site was not true- he twisted words
• “so what about Karlie Kloss? where does she stand in all this? where do we expect her to stand?”
• Enty recounts that in mid-May he wrote a blind item saying that Taylor had reached out the Karlie and they were talking about doing something for Pride month- it was going well at the beginning, but then fell apart. and it really fell apart when we all saw Karlie get married 2.0 out in Wyoming- with scooter and his wife there
• “it’s interesting that Karlie would side with scooter, but when you look at the family connections, then it all kinda makes sense why she would choose scooter’s side. it makes a lot of sense. bc Karlie’s husband is making a ton of money off of this (the selling of BM). and I don’t think people have really thought about that. so of course Karlie is going to take the scooter side bc Josh is making money from the scooter side- and Karlie wasn’t making any money from the Taylor side, and I guess friendship be damned, or what ever was left of the friendship”

• Kendall Jenner inserted herself in this, which is interesting bc when “Taylor and Karlie had their falling out, then you had Kendall Jenner kind of sliding in, if you know what I mean... 😉😉 (Enty laughs at his own joke). so that kinda.... that’s an interesting dynamic. especially if you go along with all the innuendoe and stuff”
• Todrick Hall was all over scooter about this mess with Taylor. Todrick had fired scooter as his manager in the past

• Demi had to jump in it bc she just signed with scooter and she thinks he is going to revive her career- he won’t. she will find out soon enough
• Enty is upset with Ed Sheeran. says Ed is only looking out for himself, as usual. Ed said he talked to Taylor in private. if Ed had gone public #TeamTaylor it would have been huge. but he won’t call out scooter bc he wants to work with Bieber and Ariana

• we have 3 main groups- Scooter, Big Machine and the Carlyle Group- Carlyle makes their money from military and industrial complex. scooter owns a company called Ithaca Holdings. Ithaca Holdings agreed to acquire Big Machine. now, alone- Scooter/Ithaca do not have the 300 million needed to buy BM. he needs to get the money from someplace. so he reaches out to the Carlyle Group. CG is a fund that uses different funds to invest in different things. theparticular fund in this deal is the CG “six fund” Carlyle now owns a piece of Ithaca which now owns Big Machine. CG says they are going to remain a minority share holder in Ithaca, and they have a consumer and media retail team. the man who is the head of that team is going to sit on Ithaca’s board as a memember. Scott Borchetta also gets a minority share in Ithaca and has also joined the board, and will also remain the pres. and CEO of Big Machine.
• back to Carlyle- American company. they do private equity, real estate, global credit, investments... they have 1600 employees and are global. they have invested in- Getty Images, Dunkin’, Hertz... they also own some military companies
• Carlyle took millions of dollars from Osama bin Laden’s family
• Osama bin Laden’s brother was the “go-between” guy. he was actually at a CG meeting on the day of 9/11
• CG has invested a total of 800 million dollars in Ithaca, even tho they are a minority share holder. so what does this group do? the are basically funding the genocide in Yemen, so now when someone buys an old TS record, you are putting money in the hands of these people

• Jared and Josh (the one married to Karlie) took over the family business when their father, Charles, was sent to prison for tax evasion, so he passed his company down to his sons- Jared and Josh. part of this company is a building in NYC (666 Fifth Ave) Carlyle Group invested in this building- a lot of money. so that is how Josh and Karlie are making money- bc of the CG and bc of scooter, so of course they are on scooter’s side- by staying silent
