Hello, starshine!
So it’s been a while. Hope everyone is safe and doing well. I've pondered whether I should make an *update post* because I've never been the type to talk about personal details here anyway. But since I have few questions on my inbox, I guess I should make one.
The short version is that despite the shock that the world has experienced this year, thankfully, everything's coming up roses in my RL! I got engaged to my best friend this year, and will finish my Master's Degree soon! :) Actually, shortly after entering grad school, I quit my job at a Fortune Global 500 company to take a risk in establishing a startup with my partners after heated arguments, nudges of reassurance and enticement from them. I'm very pedantic and risk-averse, so it was a huge gamble but, we're finally reaping the fruits of our labour because IoT is shaping the world in the most exciting ways! But also because of the pandemic, I'm doing my best to cope with travel protocols to switch between 4 countries to balance work, studies and personal relationships.
That said, I'm now able to pop into tumblr because of the pandemic! Since only "essential travel" is recommended during the holidays, might as well update my blog haha. I queued some posts that have been on my drafts for ages, and will *shamelessly reblog* on queue some old ones just to keep the blog running for a few days. Also, I’m now in the process of privately replying to non-anonymous asks and DMs; if I haven't replied to your message, it means I wasn't able to read it yet, or it was an interesting ask that I'd like to reply to when I'm able. I apologise in advance, but bear in mind that I have hundreds of DMs and asks that I have to catch up with! D:
I'll prolly take a very long hiatus again, but I don't think I'll delete my blog anyway.. (at least for now, mehehehe) In the meantime, again, I hope everyone is doing fab and taking care of themselves~
