How many of Peter Parker’s plans were spawned by the “you know that really old movie called [insert name]” prompt? We know he’s done it twice but seriously he must have done it more whilst off-camera. Consider it.

“Hey, you know that really old movie called The Breakfast Club?” and Peter proceeds to hop up into the vents and crawl around.

Being in the middle of New York with Tony whilst searching for some villain and people won’t leave Tony alone and Peter just says “Hey, you know that really old movie called Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?” and forms a distraction by jumping up into a parade float and performing.

And then even at school if he gets picked on he just- “Hey, you know that really old movie trilogy called Back To The Future?” and he grabs someone’s bicycle or skateboard and makes a break for it and Ned’s already great respect for Peter just increases even more.

Just Peter Parker’s plans in general.

Seeing this after rewatching homecoming only to realise he literally did the whole running through the neighbourhood thing from Ferris Bueller's Day Off just further solidifies my point

The fans who stanned Loki/Tom Hiddleston back when they first watched Thor and Avengers Assemble? They now stan Mysterio/Jake Gyllenhaal. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules. That's how it is.

Bonus points if you Stan both simultanously, just saying

The current mood

for endgame being that you don't see it until Sunday but everyone else is seeing it now, and you want to avoid spoilers but can't stay away from Tumblr our of pure habit

It hurts, man
