Honest Opinion about Pokemon SWSH
Cons:
Music sucks none of it is memorable, the crowd roaring throughout made me dislike the music more. And they had a bunch of pokemon forming a band in the credits rocking out and guess what they play in the background of such a cool scene? Calming happy music.
Game is short, region is short, there are two caves and they are basically a straight line/corridor.
The story felt very unfinished. There was one instance where they just used still drawing for a scene instead of animate it.
The villains reveal was so abrupt and last minute then when you defeat them they just go "Oh well". I didnt feel like i saw any small hints that were were evil or that their reasons were truely evil.
Obviously not as many pokemon as before.
The trade system needs work and no gts either
Havent seen any other starters just the charamander you get as a gift for beating Leon
Pros:
A lot of the animation went into the human characters and some of the new pokemon.
Some of the attacks look like the older gen and some are really flashy and cool
Wild area is awesome and fun I sucked so much hours into it alone. They should expand upon this more.
Raids are fun but can also be a rng based grind if you are after certain pokemon with hidden abilities or gigantimax forms
Finally get a asshole rival which feels good curbstomping
Seeing fully evolved pokemon that are also hard to evolve normally really is neat and saves time if you want something like a dusknoir right off the bat.

I give the game like a 6/10 its Average and servicable. People who didnt play older pokemon games will probably rate this higher since they wont know or miss any old features/pokemon.
Wild area really carried this game as far as enjoyment and replay value goes.
