CONFESSION :: okay so i don’t know if anyone has sent this in but i'ma do it anyhow. Roleplay trends need to fucking stop. These fucking trends make it so fucking hard for newer people to join. Especially since roleplaying has become more about what your shit looks like and formatting over how you actually write. There are people who will stop deny others because of a theme which is RIDICULOUS there’s no need for that shit. WRITING is what we are here for. Not who can make the best theme, self promo or icons.

This trend of making the posts on your blog super compressed is really annoying and I really can’t RP with anyone that does it. When you’re role playing the most important part of your blog is the writing on the posts not the pretty backgrounds.

█▬▬▬▬ ☠ No it’s not!! Times are changing, and if you can’t deal with that,  then you can get out. Roleplay may have been about writing and creating stories, characters, and words some years ago, but it’s 2015 now. Learning how to write and using proper grammar is so boring! That’s what school is for. I come here on tumblr to have fun and roleplay the way I want. I don’t need to follow grammar rules because they aren’t aesthetically pleasing. We are a visual generation, and it’s how something looks that is important There is nothing interesting about basic paragraphs of text.  If I wanted to read a book, I’d go to a library, not tumblr LOL!                                                                 ♚

As far as I’m concerned, you’re lame and boring if you don’t format your posts. Like what is even the point of rping if you don’t make it nice looking?????? THE LEAST you could do is block your paragraphs, but even then writing paragraphs are too long and it makes everything just ugly.

I roleplay to make friends and pretend that  I am that character, so I want to make my posts  represent their personality. It’s no longer about being separate ooc and ic. (And btw, you’re totally lame if you even use the term ‘ooc’ anymore; you need to have it outof__ <something that matches ur character>.)                                                                                ♚

I’m here to have fun and laugh with my friends. Writing and thinking is hard, and I don’t need to do that! People are more attracted to pretty icons and alt codes than plot and psychology.
