hey ok so this is. kind of a make or break moment for me and my partners
we don't have a car. we need one. getting everyone to and from work via rideshare is just not feasible for long, but neither is...yknow, not getting to work.
we'll need ~$2k to cover down payment and fees (turns out living in poverty does bad things to your credit score, and bad credit makes down payments essential on even the clunkiest of clunkers)

it's about a 40 min drive away so we really need to step on the gas here and get funds together for a car ASAP; rideshare/cab for the distance is absolutely not doable for long, esp in the gap between hiring and paycheck
we cannot get a vehicle locally for less than $7k with financing (which is why we need ~$2k for downpayment and fees; we're seriously fucked creditwise from being in poverty so long and we've been told flat out there's no way we'll be able to get even the bare minimum otherwise. there are no cars available locally for $2k, either, or we'd just be raising funds to pay cash...)
getting this will allow us to get us out of a financial hole we've been in for years. we've struggled so much to get to this point. please.
