Ryan Ross was (and still in a way is) the backbone of panic! At the disco. HE STARTED THE BAND. WROTE ALL OF THE SONGS ON THE FIRST ALBUM (by himself, I might add). DROPPED A FULL RIDE TO COLLEGE TO PURSUE THE BAND. GOT PETE TO NOTICE THEM (so he technically got their record deal for them). AND YET SO MANY PEOPLE WANT TO DISCREDIT HIM AND SAY HE ISNT IMPORTANT. OKAY PSA, PANIC WOULDN’T EXSIST WITHOUT HIM???
things i learned from dil’s proposal video
- they think a year+ of dating is a good time to get engaged
- phil is a fancy dinner for special occasions type of person
- they both think breakfast in bed is romantic
- they agree that pancakes make a romantic breakfast
- dan considers a romantic atmosphere different from a sexy one
- phil does not
- dan likes the idea of taking a bath with someone else
- dan can do a great shrek impression
- “booths are the best because then you get to antisocially sit in the corner”
- they’re okay with blowing a ton of money on a meal if it’s special
- normally they get cocktails but wine is for romantic occasions
- they’re for planning a wedding, not eloping
Do it for yourself. Don’t do it because it seems cool or anything. And don’t do it to get confirmation. A lot of people don’t give you a chance. But you’re doing it because you love it and it’s what you love to do, then it’s not hard.
