I'm the Goddamn Batman! [Gone]

@imthegdbatman / imthegdbatman.tumblr.com

Spencer, 35 imthegdbatman 2011-2021 had a hiatus in 2017. Returned only to leave for good. This was a personal blog, so I posted whatever the fuck I wanted. Not just comics. It was a ship Free Zone I helped co-found and create the comic group blog Infinity-Comics. I created Geek Network with help from friends I am now gone for good. Enjoy what remains.

The Dark Knights Farewell

I am no longer going to be logging in from time to time. This is it, this is the end for me. No hiatus, it’s just a goodbye - for good. It’s been over three year since my hiatus. Now most of my friends have left, and I have no desire to return.

Blunt Opinions on some Movies/Series:

  • Wonder Woman: Great movie, great origin story
  • Batman v Superman: Totally shit Batman scenes were great, don’t give a shit if he kills or not. Fanbois and fangurls rage on.
  • Justice League: Skipped it, looked dumb
  • Wonder Woman 1984: What the fuck was this? It was a mess in my opinion. Liked the Wonder Woman parts, but where were they?
  • Shazam: This was solid, and good fun honestly.
  • Star Wars Sequels: Lacked character development mostly, and lack of an overall vision. However Luke Skywalker basically killed Darth Vader in ROTJ. He also blew up a Death Star with people onboard.
  • Clone Wars Final Season: The middle gave me a headache, but the first and last half were amazing.
  • Infinity War & Endgame: There are some obvious plot holes, but all around fun.
  • The Mandalorian: Best Star Wars since Empire in my opinion.Rosario Dawson made a great Ahsoka.
  • WandaVision: Great stuff overall. First three episodes were boring for me though. It’s like a mini House of M but a show within a show about a show within the show. At least we got a Bohner out of it.
  • Snyder Cut: I haven’t seen it yet. Wasn’t hyped for it either. I do plan to watch it though.
  • MCU Movies: I have enjoyed them overall. Some facepalms still yes. But a decades worth of storytelling vs rushing into everything pays off sometimes.
  • What I read now: Image and indies. I find the good stuff there, and dig through some side series from Marvel and DC.
  • Robert Pattinson as Batman: Yes please. Looks great from the teaser, fuck Covid for delaying it though.
  • GoT Final Season: Oof.
  • Cyberpiunk 2077: What the fuck, CDPR? Even on PC it’s a disaster. I feel bad for the console gamers though.I enjoyed it, but still want the game we were promised.

I do not blindly love, or hate any movie. I still have friends that love DCEU more than MCU or vice versa. Some of my friends hate every Star Wars movie ever created. Stop hating people for what they enjoy entertainment wise. Accept them for who they are, not what you want them to be. Now I leave you with my very first post. It’s over 2000 pages of content to explore. Now...

“Good luck, and goodbye.”

Au Revoir, Tumblr

It’s no secret that I’ve been inactive lately, and the truth is, I’ve been more than burned out. Honestly, this site isn’t for me anymore. If i know you, and you want to keep in touch, send me a message.

Anonymous asked:

you return then you disappear again what is going on?

Eh, just find it hard to get back into Tumblr, as every time I come on, it’s either movie/show spoilers, or left filed ranting. On top of that, it’s time consuming.

black panther looks horrible cgi looks like its from a game. jfk no wonder its in feb

I think people are bitching just to bitch. Blockbuster doesn’t mean Summer anymore. Also February is Black History Month in North America. I’m personally looking forward to seeing the movie, it looks fucking awesome.

The comic is one of those must reads. It’s got a great story to it, with even better characters. Highly recommended.
