did a big chunk of my lit review + finished my outline today then I went to the gym and now I am eating a mapo tofu taco bowl I am sorry to both Chinese and Mexican cuisine purists but on god this is one of the best things I’ve ever made every bite is so scrumptious. U should all at least add a fat teaspoon of doubanjiang to your chillis it’s a game changer I swear

went to work outside today and suddenly I have the motivation to read PDFs due to the money I spent on a latte and an omelette

can any London dweller tell me of a nice spot to sit at and work on my laptop for the day?? preferably quiet 🫶🏼 thank u

there’s a special place in hell for the man who kept dropping his hand on mine through the entire bus ride I moved my hand time and time again and he was still “accidentally” brushing it literally who tf does that tfouuuuuuuuuu

gym day today was…. well…. I forgot to eat so 🤡 I was like wow why is cycling so difficult today?? what a dumb bitch god. I’m never doing that again, gave up on the treadmill to go eat a protein bar I had the foresight to pack. Thank god it was a light workout day too I was just doing some mobility exercises to improve my balance so no lifting whew 😮‍💨 also side note I never have any drink except water before a workout because it makes me feel sick so guess my surprise when I realised that most gym goers drink energy drinks during their workout??? I’d throw up on the smith machine if that were me but anyway

i don’t think i’ve ever read this much before... now if only i could read the mountain of PDFs i have for my goddamn dissertation

the thing about tumblr is that you can always count on someone to say stuff about something and if it hasn’t been said yet it definitely will and very soon (and then it will be refuted)

second humbling yet delightful experience of the day was making mapo tofu idk if i made it too spicy or if i can’t handle as much spice anymore since i can’t even recall the last time i had spicy food and so my tolerance got lower but either way, it was delicious

going to a beginner pilates class has certainly been one of the most humbling experiences of my life... i’m just glad the lady on my left was struggling like me bc we could at least commiserate about how much we wanted to get out and never come back but by the end of it i finally found my groove. i’ll have to go back every week until i manage to develop a modicum of core strength bc now it’s a matter of pride
