Neil: “Oh were you waiting for me to answer? Sorry Kevin I’ve never played checkers before.”

AFTG Christmas Event!

I haven’t seen anything about an AFTG Christmas event so I figured I would create one! And it’s October, so Christmas is a few months away.

It will be a six day event in December leading up to and including Christmas. You can use any ship or no ship at all! You can use the Foxes, Trojans etc… any AFTG characters you want! Just make sure to tag the characters and/or ships to help people find your works!

What kind of fan work can I submit?

Anything! Fanart, fanfic, edits- whatever!

Where do I post my work?

Anywhere on Tumblr or AO3!

What tags do I use?

#AFTGChristmasEvent, any warnings needed (At the beginning of the story!), ships, characters, and prompts (optional).

What are the prompts and corresponding upload dates?

December 20th - present shopping/cuddling/movie night

December 21st - longest night/tree decorating/baking

December 22nd - driving to see Christmas lights/present wrapping/food drive

December 23rd - hot chocolate/snowball fight/visiting Santa

December 24th - Christmas Eve/”ugly” sweater party/Ice skating

December 25th -Christmas Day/gift exchange

What if I don’t celebrate Christmas but still want to participate?

You can use some of the other prompts that don’t include Christmas in them. You also have the option to swap out any prompt that says “Christmas” with a different holiday if you would like!

Do I have to use all of the prompts?

No, you can use as many as you want! One of them or all of them.

How closely do I have to follow the prompts?

As loosely or closely as you want! Remember a prompt is only a suggestion! Stick as close to it as you want. The work doesn’t even have to be completely centered on the prompt. Be creative and have fun with it!
