Chunky fellas with silly smiles :]
Whale sharks are the biggest living fish(that we know of), the biggest recorded specimen hitting a whopping 18.8m (61.7ft)! They're filter feeders and only eat plankton and small fishes. There's only two other kinds of sharks that do this!
They are considered endangered and groups such as The Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme (MWSRP) are working on researching and conserving them.
Happy Midsummer! 🌸🌿
