This is a gun we’re talking about. The projectile is fired using an explosion, not by compressed air of a toy gun or the elastic forces of a sling shot. People would be lucky if they only lost their finger.

The finger won’t block it - the shaft is only there for keeping the bullet straight, all the propulsion happens behind the bullet. The bullet would rip through the finger, not that many would actually fit without the victim being a child, and beyond.
The bullet would go forward a little and then hit the finger and stop it’s not that hard to understand
People on tumblr don't understand guns. When you shoot a gun, the means of projection varies according to design but is usually effected by the action of gas pressure, either produced through the rapid combustion of a propellant or compressed and stored by mechanical means, operating on the projectile inside an open-ended tube in the fashion of a piston. The confined gas accelerates the movable projectile down the length of the tube, imparting sufficient velocity to sustain the projectile's travel once the action of the gas ceases at the end of the tube or muzzle.
If you stuck your finger in the gun when it's being shot, the finger blocks it.

If it truly took someone that much time and effort to learn photoshop I’d demand a refund, because it’s really not that hard.

To be honest, I’ve had $6 food that was better than $200 food. Particularly, but not specifically, because there are cultures whose food is stigmatized to be cheap.
This is kinda dumb. I get the sentiment, but it’s so stupid off base. First off, there’s no way that dish on the left was $6. Shrimp is expensive as fuck and there’s no way a dish with 6+ 10-12 shrimp is good if it got past health inspections. The dish on the right looks to be a (terribly plated/photographed) sea bass dish.
It may be a great dish. Both might be. The issue is that vision decides taste and taste decides everything. Why not actually let taste make an appearance?
I said $6 just as a general comment, but the picture says $12, which makes more sense, given the meal. I’ve seen cheaper, though. And it was good.
Oh yeah, I got a little lost halfway thru that post (i had a few too many $6 beers). I just get pissed when people present my industry like this.
I mean, I think the overall sentiment is not that refined food isn’t good, it’s that it isn’t necessary to have a good food experience.

Nobody has ever paid $200 for some single fish entree (ok someone somewhere has at some point, but that's not what I'm getting at). If you're paying $200 a person for just food, you're getting a lot of high quality food prepared by extremely well trained professionals.
