After over 6 years of being mutant, flyleaf has dawned a new coat of paint

Man I feel like I complain about Neopets a LOT more than I praise it nowadays but WHAT IS THIS. Seriously? I cannot wrap my head around the decision to shit out these laggy ass apps that are just generic reskins of popular puzzle games, take them down, and then put them back out but looking less and less like the source material. Howww is this Neopets at all? At least Ghoul Catchers *looks* like Neo, these look like, uh…. those Disney tsum tsum bean things.

Everyone in the comments is angry about it but I don’t blame em, the site has no artists and popular classic games like KeyQuest and Habitarium are gone indefinitely, Flash goes down in less than 6 months and we’ve gotten like 5% of the site clumsily converted so far, and THIS is what they’re giving us? Hello? The target demographic of this is like… nobody. The preexisting adult fans don’t want it and children who haven’t heard of Neo aren’t going to get into it via an app like this. Even if a child did find this amongst the 50000 other Bejeweled clones and ended up liking it, it looks nothing like Neopets? These petpets are barely recognizable. The Cyodrake in the first style isn’t even a Cyclops omg.
