Saw this wonderful band @cardiknox for the fourth time this year and it was just as excellent as the other three times. This band is doing everything right. Not to mention they're some of the nicest and coolest people you will ever meet. I know people say that a lot but it means more when you can talk to a band for two hours about anything and everything. I hope to see you back in Denver soon, Cardiknox. (at Larimer Lounge)

I love my Walrus Voyager. It was the second overdrive pedal I ever bought and it's been my primary drive/boost ever since. Without it, I probably would not have ever convinced myself to purchase more Walrus gear like my Descent, Bellweather, or Aetos. I would not have taken the time to drive to their warehouse last year to show my appreciation and see what was coming next. Walrus Audio is one of those pedal engineering companies that is truly inventing a new style of performance. True depth and originality in their gear. I only hope to collect more. It's been a really fun trip so far seeing @carlyraejepsen twice and a third time tonight at @hobhouston. Carly is so sweet and nice to her fans, and the whole band plays a fun show every night. (at ACL-Moody Theater)

A few days late, but I've been working on my best albums of 2015 list. These are the ten that I listened to a lot last year, and also that meant a lot to me at many times. My album of the year is Failure's "The Heart Is A Monster". I wasn't even a fan of Failure until seeing them at Riot Fest 2013, and they blew me away with the amount of production and genius put into the music. This album expanded on that tenfold. (The list at the bottom are runners up)
