i'm reminded of those posts from trans women who stated in their experiences that by far most cis women they interact with in person aren't transphobic towards them. and that recent study that showed the uk population is more accepting of trans people than they perceive each other to be (ie 2 uk polls, "do you think most people are trans friendly" vs "are you trans friendly"). i think there's more love and acceptance in this world than transphobes want you to believe. you are not as hated as legislators and conservative news outlets would lead you to believe.

Wednesday, October 25th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay off my overdue balance and keep my utilities on!!

As most of you are already aware from my posts, I have been struggling financially these past few years due to COVID-19 and my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under continuous reviews, which is due to my worsening mental/physical health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. After a lengthy health assessment, I have been declared unfit for work.

Thankfully, though, after waiting nine months, my application for Adult Disability has finally been approved, with me being granted the low rate ADP. However, I will not receive the first payment until November 6th, and I desperately need help to pay off my overdrawn account before my welfare payment, which is in arrears by £128.86, help to keep my utilities on and pay some overdue bills!!!

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you!! ❤

I wish people had the energy they have for deconstructing and hating Harry Potter could also be directed at Five Nights at Freddy's, considering the creator of FNaF is every bit as much of a transphobic bigot as JKR. And he's even younger and can use his money for even worse shit for longer.

It's kinda past "oh, FNaF is just an Internet meme franchise, it's just a couple games that are only popular because Markeplier did a yell at one, pwease it's a wittwe multi-biwwion dowwa feanchiwe uwu." It's everywhere, it's as pervasive as HP now. There's a movie now. There's merchandise everywhere you go.

Both of them are fucking everywhere and completely inescapable this time of year, but only one has at least a little blowback.

I do wonder if some of it is that FNaF is more popular with zoomers and HP is more associated with millennials (and as tiktok won't shut up about for the past 3 years, everything millennial is cringe and everything zoomer is based).

This is why I am not seeing the Five Nights At Freddy's movie.

Damn, a 1am drop this time. Choosing color schemes is one of my big weaknesses as an artist. I need to constantly reference color theory explanations because it is hard for me to visualize color as vividly as shapes. I feel that the colors in this one look pretty nice though, I’m more or less happy.
