Review; So, this is another of my favorite movies. I know by now y’all are probably thinking “is there anything that doesn’t get 5 stars?” Yes, but we’ll get to that later lol. Anyways, this movie is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It follows the main character, Astrid Magnussen, played by lovely Alison Lohman, as she goes foster home to foster home after her mother (played by Michelle Pfeiffer), goes to prison. It is a really emotional movie, as she goes through a lot of troubling things throughout her journey. Besides that, I can’t really explain too much more, but I will leave it at it’s definitely something you should watch, if you’re ready for a tear jerker. I hope you fall in love with Astrid as much as I did, as you watch her grow & triumph! 🖤
