As much as I love Nope 2022, there needs to be a conservation about how people used Mary Jo Elliott's shot from the trailer for their alien theories. If you haven't seen Nope, in the beginning with Gordy's birthday party he disfigures Mary Jo Elliot, a cast member with Jupe. Later it is revealed she survived and wears a veil to cover her face. In the trailer she looks up revealing her face post-Gordy attack and after that singular moment I saw people actuating that she is an alien to or her face is placed by a UFO for clickbait. I couldn't find the video but remember there was one distinctly titled "Are they an Alien?" next to Mary's face.
If some people had brain cells or a literal critical thinking they could tell that this person is a survivor of an attack (which I even thought was an acid attack due to the severity of the scars). And when it turns out it was from Gordy, the people who the made videos recanted their theories but it doesn't make it right to use a disabled/disfigured person whether real or fictional to use their image for clickbait.

Even if the author(s) of the video(s) said that it wasn't their intention to put Mary next to a UFO or accuse her of being one, then why do a thumbnail with Mary's face? Views. If a creator/author can put a disabled person's face on their video next to a UFO, they don't see them as people and only for monetary gain.
This has been on my mind for a while now, let me know your thoughts. I also have no qualms with Jordan because he was showing how Jupe used Mary Jo for monetary gain by inviting her to his shows. He's pointing out this trend out and yet people can't take a hint.

This is Rhys, my 2 year old cat
You can do whatever you want with him, he never bites or scratches anyone and he loves playing fetch and sucking on soft plushy blankets
Another cat has bitten him and gave him this bacteria called Pyo Thorax which causes fluid behind his lungs. It's a deadly condition, but thank god my mom and I noticed on time so he's now in an animal hospital where they're cleaning his lungs and
He's doing really well at the moment
Unfortuately, the bacteria won't completely be gone unless the vets do a surgery where they open up his chest and clean every little corner of the lungs so they know that all the bacteria are gone. Then again, Rhys is a strong lil man and he's doing fine so the surgery will, according to the vets, go well and he'll recover like any other cat.
But
The surgery is expensive and my mom, who has all the money for the surgery but planned on spending that money on buying new furniture for the house, thinks
"It's a waste of money to spend it all on a cat"
This is why mom wants to put him to sleep tomorrow
I'm not asking anyone here for money.
I'm asking if you can REBLOG this post to convince my mother that little Rhysie's life is worth the money and it's sad to give up on him because he is already getting so much better and he is just soo strong
