so i went to target earlier and i was looking through the menā€™s clothing section and was comparing two shirts and this woman came up to me and literally said Ā ā€œoh, how nice! you must be shopping for your boyfriendā€.Ā and i, without thinking, replied:Ā ā€œnothing i do in life is ever for the sake of menā€.

SO I GOT A DOG, and I want to name her after a badass lady of history, and/or a badass lady of a beloved fictional world.

I was going for Nyota but my parents (who are fostering her for a few months until I move home) are complaining that itā€™s too hard to pronounce and has too many syllables.

I also like Rosa (for Rosa Parks and Rosa Diaz from B99 lol) or Sally (for Sally Ride). Also on my Yiddish side, Kadya (for a famous Yiddish poet, Kadya Molodovsky).Ā

why do both of my roommates whisper to themselves just loud enough for someone in another room to hear? itā€™s fucking unsettling as shit. you whispering on the phone with someone? you talking to your imaginary friend? you arguing with the voices inside your head? you plotting my death? no one knows.
