Protesters in San Francisco parked vehicles on the Golden Gate Bridge, stopping traffic in both directions for four hours Monday morning, while hundreds of demonstrators blocked a highway in nearby Oakland, some by chaining themselves to drums of cement, California Highway Patrol representatives told The Washington Post. Some protesters headed toward a Tesla factory in Fremont, Calif., according to local TV station KRON4. In New York, dozens of protesters stopped traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge and held demonstrations on Wall Street, according to ABC7.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrations were also reported in Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami and San Antonio. Demonstrators’ targets ranged from major highways such as Interstate 5 in Eugene, Ore., to a countryside road leading to an aircraft engine manufacturer in Middletown, Conn.
They blocked roads leading to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, which warned travelers on social media to consider alternate forms of transportation, as car travel was “substantially delayed this morning due to protest activity.” A similar obstruction on the expressway leading to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington prompted travelers to take their luggage and cross roads on foot.
Police arrested dozens of people in several cities, but no significant violence had been reported as of Monday evening.
Protesters have stalled traffic, closed streets, disrupted daily life and interrupted events in major U.S. cities intermittently since the beginning of the Israel-Gaza war, but few have concurrently or consecutively affected travel in as many parts of the country as on Monday [April 15]."

Multiple sources report that the IOF, while simultaneously bombarding with planes and drones, is storming Al-Shifa Hospital Complex with ground troops and tanks. They are shooting into the hospital and at least one building is on fire. The situation is still developing and I will update as I get more information.
What we know so far:
The IOF launched a new, aggressive wave of aerial, sea, and ground attacks on north Gaza last night, and they continue into today. The attacks have been constant all throughout Gaza City and other parts of north Gaza since 2.30 am Gaza time, over five hours now.
The occupation surrounded Al-Shifa Hospital on all sides, attacked with aerial bombardment, snipers, and heavy artillery, and ordered everyone in the complex to evacuate. They then shot anyone who tried to move. A bomb caused a vital building to catch on fire, and several injuries and deaths by fire are being reported.
Eventually IOF tanks and ground troops stormed the complex, shooting anyone in their path. Martyrs are scattered in the streets around the hospital and in the complex itself. The IOF invaded all the buildings, firing with machine guns inside.
They then forced many displaced people and patients out at gunpoint. They marched them out into complete darkness and under fire of snipers, tanks, and drones. As far as I can tell, we do not know where these people are right now. People in the area can still hear screams from inside the complex, it is not fully evacuated yet.
Bombing and shooting continues even at this moment in and around the hospital. I have seen no significant updates from anyone in the area for about two hours now, except for one person, Emmy Shaheen, a few blocks away. Moments ago, she reported that the situation is getting worse.
I will stay awake as long as I can to look for updates
Journalist Mahmoud Ziad Aliwa reports live for Al-Jazeera Arabic from inside Al-Shifa and describes the conrinued assault on the complex by troops and tanks. Other sources report that tanks, bulldozers, and explosions continue throughout the complex.
Multiple sources report that the IOF claim to have detained over 80 Gazans from inside Al-Shifa Hospital complex. They have done this every time they attacked a hospital, and usually the people detained are medical personnel who are then abused and/or tortured, usually for a period of several days or even weeks. Some are released, some are not. The identities of the people taken this morning are, to my knowledge, not yet clear.
The IOF are bulldozing important structures in the hospital complex
Assaults by troops, tanks, artillery, and bombs continue in the vicinity of Al-Shifa and throughout Gaza City, including several schools serving as shelters for displaced people. They are firing at anyone in the streets around the schools they are besieging. Men in these centers are being arrested
The people being evacuated are told to go to Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza via Al-Rashid Street
Sources say there are still over 30,000 people inside Al-Shifa, and their lives are in immediate danger. 5,000 patients are at increased danger due to the complete and deliberate sabotage of the facility’s medical capacity.
