Screw destiny, right in the face.

Book lover, writer, Slytherin. Emotionally attached to Supernatural.I love the Winchesters more than anything.I miss Prison Break more with every day that passes. CM Punk is my idol. “Don't you dare think there is anything, past or present, that I would put in front of you.”

If you're one of those people who only started watching the show when Cas came along or even stopped watching after season 5 or whatever, then you are NOT going to get the ending. Supernatural, the absolute core of Supernatural, is FAMILY. And when you get down to it, it's always always been about two brothers who have been through hell, literally, and are still together. There is no other love like Winchester love. The actual creator of the show has even said that it's about THEM and always has been. And why was this ending fitting? Because Dean always knew he was destined for a hunter's death. Dying on the job. But he had Sam there with him, so he was at peace to leave. And Sam always wanted a family and while I know he mourned Dean his whole life, he promised Dean he'd Carry On. Until both of their perfect endings in heaven together. TOGETHER. Always. No it's not homophobic because no one is gay here. No it's not giving the middle finger to fans because to me it was perfect. If you've been with the show since the beginning, through its ups and downs, you know this is right. Stop crying about non existent ships.

To all the Destiel twats complaining in the general tags.

You are not fans of Supernatural, you never have been fans of the show, you’ve spent years trying to get it changed from a show about two brothers hunting, to a romantic show about a hunter and his angel (and screw the lead) and you got the fuck you from the writers you deserve and has been a long time coming. Genuine fans of the show are happy with the ending.

You wilfully misinterpreted everything from the get go, the latest being Becky is a Destiel shipper and something about a dog and a gas station. A five year old could do better meta than a Destiel shipper, you’ve been an embarrassment to the fandom for years and toxic to the cast and crew, especially J2, not to mention bullies within fandom, putting your shit everywhere.

Sorry, too tired of all your drama to sugar coat it anymore and I pity the fandom you go to harass next in your pursuit of your fetish.

Hey, did I ever tell you, that night that I came to you at school, you know, when Dad hadn’t come back from his hunting trip? I must have stood outside your door for hours. Because I didn’t know what you would say. I thought you’d tell me to get lost or get dead, and I didn’t know what I would have done… if I didn’t have you. ‘Cause I was so scared, I was scared, ‘cause when it all came down to it it was always you and me. It’s always been you—and me.

Don’t leave me.

so many critics said he over-acted. that this movie didn’t deserve tom hardy’s level of acting. excuse you, maybe if more bad movies had people like tom going balls to the wall, they wouldn’t be bad movies

Repeat after me: Not liking Harry Potter doesn’t make you cool or intellectually superior. Living for Nietzsche doesn’t make you better than anyone else. What matters is that your interests are genuine: enjoy things for your own sake. Do you love Shakespeare and Friends? Good. Do you love Homer and Backstreet Boys? Great. Do you listen to Britney Spears after that classical concert? Sounds great!

Repeat after me: tastes aren’t linear or cohesive (whatever that means). Life is too short. Enjoy what you want to enjoy. There aren’t things like “oh, but this makes me sound stupid” or “but this doesn’t make any sense?? I need to show I am intellectual!”

For Shakespeare’s sake: enjoy life. You can enjoy pop culture and still slay someone during an “intellectual” battle (or just sharing ideas, which sounds better and where you can learn more).
