Given that we’re under quarantine and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune is on the horizon, I’ve done a reread of the book. I don’t feel it’s necessary to say the book is brilliant--even better than I remember.
But, I did just finish Dune Messiah for the first time, the second in the series, and I can’t believe I waited so long. It’s brilliant and beautiful and wildly underrated. Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. I loved it.
