Ever heard of Shovel Knight? Specter of Torment is the best out of the 3 campaigns imo, and I think Specter Knight would look really good in your art style.

i wanna make a platformer about an animal,but i can't think of anything,i thought of making it about a red panda but i don't think they are interesting enough to make a game out off,so,got any ideas? ,
It all depends on the design. Any animal can work for platformers, I mean look at Crash
