One day you meet someone who ignites a flame in you. The fiery emotions thrive in the depths of your heart. Suddenly, you’re alive. You don’t quite know why, but you feel it. You feel everything. So you cling onto it, you’ve never felt this way before and you never want it to go away. You hang onto it, like you’re free falling and all you have to hold onto is a rope. Your grip tightens each day as you hear the threads snapping, one by one. You can’t fix it, all you can do is hold on. You know you can’t stop the inevitable, but you persist anyway. Hold on tighter you tell yourself, don’t fall, not now, not yet. Until one day as you’re hanging by a wavering thread, it snaps. You fall. What you so desperately held on to finally decided that you were too heavy, and you fall. And just as suddenly, You’re sprawled on the ground, Eyes open, Heart broken.
