im so sorry lol
'horseplay' and 'monkey business' being treated as synonyms means something. don't know what though
Monkeys are so silly that what they consider business, horses consider play.
not gonna lie, discovering the word “ough” changed me fundamentally as a person
I’m in the woods placing cardboard cutouts of morels in the leaf litter to trick and bamboozle people
I’m about to ruin someone’s whole life
Scamp
tee hee hee hee hee
I know, I know, gatekeeping the outdoors, that's supposedly bad, right, but I think if you show up to do a hike and you brought a portable speaker with you to play music while you hike, I think, like hear me out, there should be a gate, and someone at the gate should keep you from doing the hike.
playing music in public should get strong social disapproval
Recorded music, anyway. Live music is different rules. If you want to lug an entire cello up a mountain you can do whatever the hell you want.
obsessed with my partners cishet friend because he is literally only friends with transmascs. don't call yourself a cis ally unless 90% of your circle is trans

[ID: Screenshots of (1) a tweet by Pop Base that reads:
Tyler James Williams denies he's gay and says speculating someone's sexuality is dangerous: "Overanalyzing someones behavior in an attempt to 'catch' them directly contributes to the anxiety a lot of queer and queer questioning people feel when they fear living in their truth."
(2) an Instagram Story posted by Williams that reads:
Usually I wouldn't address stuff like this but I feel like it as a conversation is bigger than me. I'm not gay; but I think the culture of trying to "find" some kind of hidden trait or behavior that a closeted person "let slip" is very dangerous. Overanalyzing someones behavior in an attempt to "catch" them directly contributes to the anxiety a lot of queer and queer questioning people feel when they fear living in their truth. It makes the most pedestrian of conversations and interactions in spaces feel less safe for our gay brothers and sisters and those who may be questioning. It also reinforces an archetype many straight men have to live under that is often times unrealistic, less free, and limits individual expression. I’ve been very clear about the intentionality I try to put into using my platform to push back against those archetypes every chance that I get. Being straight doesn't look one way. Being gay doesn't look one way. And what may seem like harmless fun and conversation may actually be sending a dangerous message to those struggling with real issues. I refuse to inadvertently contribute to that message. Happy Pride to all of my queer and questioning brothers, sisters, and individuals. I pray that you feel seen in ways that make you feel safe in the celebration that is this month. As an ally I continue to be committed to assisting in that where I can and helping to cultivate a future where we are all accepted and given permission to be ourselves.

whats ur favorite bird?
anon you have just opened pandora’s box
My favorite particular bird is the Pfeilstorch! This is a piece of taxidermy from the early 1800s currently on display at the University of Rostock in Germany.
In the early 1800s, natural historians and biologists did not know where birds went for the winter. They just disappeared. Some people thought they hibernated like bears, or turned into fish (!!) or flew to the moon (!!)
Cut to 1822 when a this bird was found in Germany. It was still alive, walking around with this spear in its neck. The spear was made from wood that only grows in central Africa. The German biologists determined that the bird had been speared in central Africa and then flew north to Germany. This was how they figured out that birds migrate with the changing seasons.
Many wonderful women are congratulating me for my fantastic ability to open the microwave door right before it beeps. They are cheering my name and everybody is so happy and my burrito is still cold in the middle so I get to perform my trick for them again
