as much as i love the idea of Percy being all soft affection and like cute hugs from behind with Annabeth, i also fully believe he’s one of those boyfriends that would interrupt her conversations by putting her in a headlock instead of just hugging her. like, he hugs her at first to seem normal and innocent, and then it turns into a headlock. Annabeth just rolls her eyes and waits to complete her thought before flipping him over her shoulder and continuing her conversation like nothing happened. that’s when he just stares lovingly at her without getting up.
