Honestly the best piece of advice I can give to younger girls trying to figure life out is to completely ignore men. I’m not being quirky or cute when I say that, I mean it seriously. Ignore men’s judgments of you, ignore their insincere compliments, ignore their half-assed romance. Focus on developing yourself. Practice your art, play sports, do theater, volunteer, spend time with your friends, but do not put substantial effort into pleasing men. They’ll be there for you to pursue when the time comes and if you want to. But nothing will waste your youth more than fighting for male acceptance.

• imagine just laying on the floor of your living room for no reason, scrolling through whatever on your phone

• you've been waiting for a while now, you didn't want to be too pushy, he said he'd been done soon so you were passing the time as best you could

• your boyfriend is busy with work, you understand

• but eventually jk comes downstairs, saying he's finished with work for today n sees you laying on the floor

• mans doesn't even question it, just pulls out his phone for a quick mugshot of you (has a whole folder dedicated to ur mugshots btw)

• then he just lays down next to you, his feet facing the same way, except his head is laying on his stomach

• he opens yt and starts watching whatever

• so you both are just doing your own thing on ur phones

• and every now and then you'll reach down and stroke his hair

• and in return, he would defs pull your hand to his mouth so he could kiss your palm or your fingers

• it would just be so cute
