How would you of rewritten Harry x Hermione to be canon in books ?
Romantic feelings for each other would slowly start developing in the 6th book. I like the idea of Harry asking Hermione to Slughorn’s party. They’d have a much better time together than what happened in the books. Plus, they could’ve snooped together on Draco and Snape (spy duo?!). In DH, their relationship will continue to grow, especially once Ron is temporarily gone. I’d add an 8th book on their 8th year at Hogwarts (this is where’d they eventually get together, as head boy and head girl, of course) and their lives after they graduate from Hogwarts, which would produce more content and world building at the Ministry of Magic.
