Peter: An absolute mess. Just posts photos he takes of his friends and places oe just aesthetics he really likes.

James: Tries to keep a light blue theme but it doesnt work for him. Half the photos he posts arent even him, just lookalikes he finds on the internet. This really amuses Sirius.

Remus: The only one who actually has a good looking theme. Never posts people but his captions are always about them.

Sirius: Steals a lot of Peter’s and James’ photos but tags them and gives credit in every one. Really likes Peter’s photos but his own are good too. Likes the photos that make you feel something when looking at them.

Remus Lupin- The Beast from Beauty and the Beast

The idea that someone could fall in love with a monster gave Remus so much hope. He could never understand why someone might fall in love with him and yet Belle fell in love with the Beast. He knew he just needed to find someone with a golden heart. It was a guilty pleasure of his to watch it after the full moon to cheer him up. 

Sirius Black- Aladdin from Aladdin 

Sirius related to the mischievous nature of Aladdin and often reflected his charm and smoothness in situations. He also related to Aladdin’s lack of family as Sirius felt he had lost his family anyway. Plus his motorbike was basically the magic carpet. And he would refer to it as the magic carpet. All. The. Goddamn. Time. 

James Potter- Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid 

James purely loved this film due to the fact that Lily looked like Ariel and he kind of looked like Eric. He would tell her this all the time and although she would deny it she kinda loved it. Until they were arguing about something and James commented on how he hoped a sea witch would steal her voice. She wasn’t as fond of it after that. 

Peter Pettigrew- Prince Charming from Cinderella

It was all there in the name. Prince Charming was Charming. He’s arguably presented as the most perfect, classic prince. And Peter wanted that glory.  Three sisters wanted him, fought over him and damn Peter wished someone would admire him the way the sisters fawned after Prince Charming. Peter was always the least noticed out of the Marauders and for once he wanted to be at the top.

Because they’re all teenagers, they don’t want to spend money on motels or airbnbs, so they decided to sleep in the cars. But because there’s not enough room for all them to sleep in the cars, they have tents and sleeping bags too. I MIGHT be rooting for my girls here, they deserve to win this time with that stunt they pulled.

A jigsaw piece that doesn’t fit, clouds covering constellations, the ache in your heart, not being able to prove yourself, wind whistling through the trees, doing what is right and yet feeling as though it’s wrong, never being approved. 

Remus Lupin: ‘This Is Home’ by Cavetown

Dreading an event, anxiety and butterflies that feel like eagles, full moons, hating the way you look in the mirror, fog blocking out the hope, the fear of never being loved, walking through the stars at night, cameras that have run out of film. 

Peter Pettigrew: ‘6/10′ by Dodie

Always being the one left out, damp sticks stopping a fire igniting, always last, hunting for approval like a lion hunts for prey, the feeling of lacking something special, dancing on your own, being talked over, broken vinyls. 

A really short birthday post for Lily in the final countdown of her birthday 🎂♥️

I also had headcanons of her teenage birthday years with the marauders…

14: Her first birthday after meeting James and Remus, and she had hung out with Sirius and Peter a few times. She wasn’t expecting anything at all from them, since they barely knew each other. Yet, come her 14th birthday, a very poorly (but well-attempted) wrapped package was found on her doorstep that had a note that said “Love, the Marauders” and a moodring in the shape of a flower. (She still has it)

15: She had a small group go to stay with her in a really nice hotel, girls only of course, by her parent’s rules, but she knew the boys well enough by now that she left the cake out on the kitchen counter for them to eat when they snuck in and sleeping bags by the TV. She fell asleep in her room upstairs with all the other girls already asleep in their bunks, but not before hearing the front door open and Remus’ quiet, delighted laugh at the sight of the chocolate cake. They left before her parents woke up the next morning, but not without leaving her a couple bottles of black and white nail polish, and an entire bag of her favorite candy. The note this year read “Love, ya boys xoxo”

16: She threw a big party in her basement, formal attire only. It was all fairy lights, disco lights, and very loud music coming from an actual DJ set up she borrowed from Petunia’s ex-boyfriend (who used to swear he’d make it big) She was really happy when Remus and Sirius showed up in matching suits, holding hands, Peter with his happy face and a kiss on both of her cheeks, and when Potter showed up in a tux with a tie matching her dress. He handed her a small box with a note that said “For the prettiest flower” and he kissed her on the nose. The present from James was a necklace, a flower with custom engraved antlers on the back and the word “Jily” It made her laugh so hard, a few people even heard her over the music in the midst of their dancing.

17: She didn’t do anything really, except invite her closest friends over for a movie and then they’d all fall asleep on the floor in her living room. They watched two Jurrasic Park movies before she fell asleep with the popcorn bowl in her lap, her hand intertwined with James’, and her head resting on his shoulder. It was her favorite birthday by far.

everybody always says sirius black is the vain marauder but i dare you to try and tell me james potter did not stop in every single shop window/mirror/reflective surface to finger gun and loudly tell himself that he is “one hot bitch!” 

True facts. Sirius’ whole aesthetic in canon is not giving a fuck, whereas approximately 88.7% of all references to James mention him fussing with his hair.
