Sunshine Meadows at the top of the morning. Literally breathless. It was too early for the other hikers - just me, sunshine, and crisp air on the mountain. Absolutely worth the early rise.
We’re in a storm right now, locally, and globally. We’re in the middle of it, not knowing the difference between fear and fact, hysteria or honest and necessary caution. In the thick of this beast, and the trickle down is staining so many different aspects of life. I believe we will come through it, that there’s a rainbow waiting on the other side, we just have to be compassionate and caring and socially responsible to get there. Even if you’re low risk, even if you’re not afraid, exercise caution, protect those that are of higher risk, protect those that cannot protect themselves as well. We are all in this storm together, just remember the skies will clear again.
