Favorite Anime of 2018

Aikatsu Friends: It’s Aikatsu, nothing more to say. But honestly, I was pretty sad when Aikatsu Stars. Unlike the original Aikatsu were I started around Akari’s time, I started Stars from the beginning. It was nice to week by week be along for the ride. It make the last episode hit that much harder. Hopefully Aikatsu Friends will be just as good if not better. I don’t think that’s much of a worry though, since things seem to be heating up.

Comic Girls: As someone who hopes to sale a successful manga or 2, this anime was relateable. Episode 5 especially resonated with me enough to make me want to write. All the characters were fun and lovable. Overall its a shame this anime was only 1 cour.

Lostorage conflated WIXOSS: I love Wixoss and it was nice to see old characters return and meet the newer ones. Despite enjoying this season, I can’t lie, it felt kinda rushed and a little over the place.

Shoujo ☆ Kageki Revue Starlight: This was a refreshing anime as it wasn’t your typical idol anime or even one period despite appearances. I remember watching the fight scene from the first episode like 20 times.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Mina: I really like anime like this. It’s similar to Yahari, which is one of my favorite anime, but Bunny Girl has more of a mystical element to it along with a main that doesn’t needlessly hurt himself just to solve issues.
