The person in the video mentions not being sure what to do, so I will take this opportunity for a PSA: If you rescue a tiny baby kitten, job one is to make sure the kitty is warm! Cold is more immediately dangerous to them than hunger, and it can be dangerous to feed a cold kitten, so if it’s chilly or worse when you find the kitten, you want to get them all warmed up before you do anything else.
You can do that by wrapping the kitten up in a blanket, towel, or whatever you have, and hold it against your chest. If it’s really cold–and especially if it’s cold and wet–put the wrapped-up kitten inside your coat or sweater. You want the kitten to warm up gradually, so don’t use anything warmer than body heat, like a heating pad or hair dryer.
You’ll be able to tell when the kitty is warm enough by feeling the ears and paw pads–if they feel cool or cold, continue snuggling.
