Kurt's gaze traveled across the room to the large window facing the street.  Blaine was looking out it, fidgeting slightly while smoothing down a truly hideous Ugly Christmas sweater that Tracy had picked out for him to wear.  He was too adorable for words.

While Blaine’s attention was focused on the view outdoors, Kurt silently crept up behind him.  He slid his arms around Blaine’s waist and placed his chin on the doctor’s shoulder.

"You're nervous," Kurt murmured softly into his ear.

Blaine sighed as he gripped Kurt’s arms tightly.  “Can you blame me?”

Kurt chuckled as he nuzzled the soft curls at the doctor’s temple.  “You don’t have to be nervous.  They won’t bite, I promise.”

Blaine swallowed loudly.  "It's your parents, Kurt. . . your Dad especially.  I think I have a right to be at least a bit intimidated.  I have a vested interest in him actually liking me.”

“He’s going to love you.  They both will.”
