Fitness is like gardening. If you sow a seed, you don’t come back the next day and don’t start digging in the soil to see if the plant has already begun to grow. The same applies to working out. You can’t do a work out and stand in front of the mirror the next day expecting to see your muscles already growing and fat melting. Trust the process. It is a slow one but it is happening. The change is already happening deep within but you have to wait a few weeks or months to finally see it. But once you do, you will feel proud and accomplished.
Lunch: tuna wrap with carrots and dip.
The good news: I’ve lost enough inches that my pants are falling off.
The bad news: I need to buy new pants :(

Doing a bunch of catch up today on my blog because I was out of town on Friday and this weekend. But it was a great week last week! Activity was on point, as was food! I’m a little worried about this week because I wasn’t able to work out yesterday or go grocery shopping so we are totally unprepared food-wise. But I’m going to try to sneak out early from work and workout and get some veggies in the house tonight.
This is also a completely crazy month. Like I said we were out of town last weekend, my husband is traveling for work twice this week, this weekend I’m throwing myself a birthday party, then it is passover and we have seder monday and tuesday, then it is easter on Sunday, and then we leave for a weeklong cruise, and the day we get back I have to fly out for a work trip! So idk how consistent I am going to be this month with things, especially weighing in, but I’m going to try and keep on track with exercise and staying within my cals.
My digestive problems seem to be getting better, but I’m still eating really awfully. A friend suggested that my constant digestive problems may be due to all the new vitamins and supplements I’ve been taking… I didn’t think she was right, at first, but I’ve stopped taking them all, and I do feel better.
There are few that I think I should be taking, still, so I’m going to introduce one or two back in at a time, and skip a few all together.
I’m going to reintroduce my multivitamin, Vitamin D (because I have a deficiency and a risk for MS), and then… I’m looking to you, keto fam… which supplements/vitamins do you strongly recommend? Here is what I was taking daily before:
Multivitamin - Will continue Vitamin D - Will continue Probiotic - Suggestions? I think I should take one… Potassium - Suggestions? Magnesium - Suggestions? B Complex - Suggestions? Fish Oil - Suggestions? Hair, skin & nail vitamins - Suggestions? Tonalin CLA - Probably will not continue.. but open to suggestions 5-HTP - Suggestions? Lithium Orotate - Suggestions?
The last three didn’t seem to do anything for me, so I probably won’t buy again, but should I bother finishing the bottles and seeing? Tonalin is for fat loss and the last two are for mood/depression, although B-Complex is for that, too, and seems more “natural?”
I need help! Thanks!
