I'll keep saying this because it's true as an Elder Millenial Iranian American, this shit is terrifying because I am seeing the same patterns the US used to justify invading Afghanistan & Iraq and kill millions of people-- when that proved to be too difficult to do with ground forces, shifted to indiscriminate aerial bombardments and drone strikes for years Like, Palestine barely had enough food or water to live before; they didn't have enough chemicals to make the necessary medicines that they weren't allowed to import; they entirely lack PPE and have been suffering the ravages of COVID without masks or vaccines How the fuck is Hamas supposed to get the materiel and personnel to construct WMDs? This is preparation work for more genocide and it is called atrocity propaganda. People in the past couple weeks are already being lynched throughout the so-called west because they're Arabic or Muslim & just like in the W years of the war, this will only worsen with more attacks. A white landlord murdered an Arabic child tenant and attempted to kill his mother too. Zionists are showing up at Palestinian solidarity rallies brandishing weapons, promising genocide. These things we saw too during 2020 when fascists were attacking almost every single protest in every city refusing to be silent and complicit in the police state genociding people of color after witnessing the murder of George Floyd. People died from white terror attacks and then as now and as in the aughts, the police ensured little to nothing happened to the perpetrators as the mainstream news turned away & remained silent, while denouncing desperate efforts to defend protestors from police and assorted "civilian" and paramilitary fascist terror attacks
I will forever condemn everyone who has claimed to have sympathy, empathy, or solidarity for the oppressed & marginalized but refused to support our acts of resistance.
