Day 2: Traditional Ink on midtone paper. To ink, I used a quill and a calligraphy brush with india ink.
The midtone paper has texture, but I felt it was lacking that special “Darowen Touch.” Thus, I added my watercolor paper texture onto (only) the red part (on the computer). I was inspired by Gary Numan’s album “Telekon” for this one. Thus, the overly saturated red.

im trying to save for one of [these] because my EDS and fibromyalgia are getting worse, and a manual wheelchair would wreck my arms because my wrists/elbows/shoulders arent all that good either. where i live is really hilly and sidewalks are really iffy, so this with the steeper angle it can run on and the bigger wheels would be the best for me getting around here. i cant work for all these reasons (trying exacerbated my symptoms too much) so i wouldnt be able to save up myself, so anything here or sharing if you cant donate would be really helpful! thanks!

SO I FOUND OUT SOMETHING HILARIOUS ABOUT NEWT AND HERMANN TODAY :
In German they’re really really strict about how you refer to people, particularly how you refer to educated people (Hence “CALL ME DR. GOTTLIEB”)
so like. if someone has two doctorates, you basically have to call them “Dr. Dr. (Name)” And if someone is a professor and has a doctorate, you would call them “Professor Dr. (Name)”
you can see where this is going
how long did hermann spend calling newt “professor dr. dr. dr. dr. dr. dr. gieszler” and by the time he’s to the second dr. newt’s just like I WILL KILL YOU
