1. Identity – Requires a sense of balance, flexibility AND stamina. I don’t know how I used to get through the whole thing without breaking a sweat because I tried it one time after I stopped exercising regularly and I had to just lie down in exhaustion halfway through
2. Happy☆Punch – Not “difficult” per se, but definitely another stamina beast
3. Love Like Caramelize – There are a lot of left hand movements which don’t necessarily come naturally to right-handed people. You need to have a decent sense of awareness of which direction you’re facing, too. There are also a few parts with lots of quick, sharp movements, which can be surprisingly taxing.
4. The Wasteland’s Miracle – It requires leg strength and a sense of balance, but honestly, I think the biggest problem is the potential to get dizzy from all that spinning
5. Aikatsu☆Step – It’s hard because it’s so fast. Usually I would have trouble with pacing because I’d speed ahead, but with this one it’s way easier to get left behind.
6. Take Me Higher – It’s sneakily tiring (slightly) because of how the arms are up for most of the song, especially the second half. There’s also a weird sliding part near the end that made me feel like a penguin slipping on ice.
7. Dreaming bird – I believe I’ve seen people describe this one as “low intensity” or “simple”, which actually isn’t quite right. There are indeed a lot of low-intensity parts, but there are also parts where you may not realize the difficulty until you try to do them yourself. For example, in the fashion show version, during the prechorus, you’re taking steps to one rhythm while moving your arms to another rhythm, and it’s easy to mess that up. Then right after that, the torso is twisted to one side while the head remains perfectly in place. Neither of these moves are huge and flashy, but they still require special skill to do.
8. Believe it – The hardest part is how goofy it looks!
9. Tarte Tatin – It’s pretty easy until the very end, where there is a double-spin. I believe this is the only song in the whole franchise to feature that type of spin. I had to practice that part for a really long time compared to everything else.
10. As It Is – The movements feel slightly off-rhythm to me so it’s hard to get the hang of that. Other than that, it’s an easy dance that feels kind of like stretching.
11. TSU-BO-MI ~To The Vivid Future~ – Makes an impact without being too difficult to do. The only difficult-ish part is the spinning jump at the beat drop.
12. Queen of Roses – It’s pretty easy save for a few sharp movements. I’m very picky about getting the hands perfectly aligned during that “trapped against a wall” movement at the end of the second (?) verse, but that’s just me.
13. Guided – Despite the ballet-like vibe, it’s quite easy.
14. Precious – It’s easy, but sometimes it’s confusing because some of the movements are similar to earlier ones but slightly different. So it sort of tricks the muscle memory into thinking it’s the same as before when it actually isn’t
