There have been a couple lately where the profile pic was like a landscape or something innocuous, and I was hesitant, but… ultimately the complete blankness and weird names just screamed spambot.

Tumblr should make some kind of rule that new users need to make a post before they’re allowed to follow anyone. Or like you have to change SOMETHING about your blog before you can follow.
