What if one by one he loses his kids in a future gone to shit and he’s the last one standing. One way or another he wakes up and he’s in his room in the manor Alfred’s there to greet him and he finds he’s young again. It’s the day before/of/after Haly’s Circus is in Gotham.

He can change things, do better for his kids. For all of them.

In fairness, it is a plot point in Cujo's episode that he actually is already trained. He's still a puppy of course, with the attention span to match. But he does understand and obey basic commands.

So consider, the Bats insist on training and Danny is too afraid to dispute. But then Robin starts working with them and realizes exactly what Danny did, that Cujo is already trained. He's just also very protective of his people.

The new conclusion is that Cujo was experimented on and trained explicitly to protect Danny.

Now they want to know why this seemingly normal homeless kid needs a meta guard dog.

So Cujo is trained, this is true

However, if you’ve ever looked much into service dogs or other dog professions that require a lot of training… well, not every dog has the right temperament

Some are a little too independently minded to only use their new tricks on command

(Curious readers may have a wonderful time looking up stories of dogs that fail out of service training in this way; dogs that can open doors and fridges and do so when they feel like it, not when they’re told?

Cujo is one of these

Clearly this dog was being trained for something, but it’s just as clear that the training has not overridden Cujo’s personality

He knows commands like “sit”, “stay”, “drop it”

He knows commands like “sicc em”

He applies them on his own schedule, not Danny’s, not Robin’s; Cujo’s

The more training the bats try to give Danny/Cujo… well, the more cool new tricks Cujo can learn to apply precisely where and when he feels it necessary

He’s a very sweet pup, and occasionally there’s a training session where he behaves perfectly and does as he’s told when he’s told, because Robin has The Good Treats and Cujo feels like it

(Danny asks where the fuck Robin expects a street kid to buy the expensive dog treats. Robin stalls out and says he’ll give them to Danny every month personally)

As for how this homeless kid has this highly trained yet more highly individualistic dog? Well, clearly whoever was working on Cujo decided he was more trouble than he was worth

(Which may/may not be Cujo’s legal backstory of how he became a ghost)

And then Danny came across him, maybe just in time in this version and nursed him back to health. And Cujo has decided he likes Danny

So now he won’t leave Danny alone

If the bats try and persuade Danny to give Cujo up, he can easily demonstrate that that deadass will not work

Bats leave with Cujo in tow, Cujo following for The Good Treats for about ten minutes

Cujo then realises Danny is not with them

Bats attempt to distract Cujo so he is not upset

Cujo, not remotely distressed, trots away happily through the fucking wall and then comes back a few minutes later carrying Danny by the scruff of his neck into the fucking batcave like “oh you forgot him don’t worry I got him”

Danny gives everyone a sarcastic wave and asks if they would like to continue to argue with the magic dog

Danny moves to Gotham and the batfam picks up on the weird guy who sometimes glows green. So they all try to interrogate him but instead of taking it seriously he just treats it like a casual conversation and responds to the invasive questions with the oddest shit possible.

they fired AND SUED an expert who told them the vessel was unsafe. this is insane (X)

So I posted these two images that I made in a post together just shy of a year ago, and the post got 10,000+ notes. Today I saw a meme with a text convo of someone sending one of them to a military recruiter (which is extremely funny) and I thought “oh I should find that post again”

but when I went to find it, it had completely vanished. not just the original post, but even reblogs of it. I couldn’t even find screenshots anyone had taken of the original post. it wasn’t brought to my attention as a reported post, tumblr never even contacted me about deleting it, it just… disappeared

ADOPTION FUN FACT

If you’re adopted internationally into the United States, BY adoption LAWS you’re legally a citizen, but you still have to apply for documentation and if it’s not done by the age of 18 you have to pay over $500 and get a judge to reopen your adoption case. 

Even More Fun Fact: No one actually tells adoptive families, this so many find out after they’re 18 when their kid needs to get a passport, wants to apply for financial aid, get certain jobs, vote or some other shit that requires proof of citizenship and now it’s too late because they’re 18 or over. 

AND EVEN MORE FUN FACT! You can sometimes even be deported because you can be considered foreign-born, non-citizens! 

Oh and they won’t accept adoption papers or a birth certificate as proof. 

Adoption is FUN. 

Do it now! Seriously. Even if you think you are safe. Do it.

Many people are finding that even a birth certificate is not valid proof anymore. Texas birth certificates are notorious. So notorious that I have 3 friends who can’t use them to get passports! Don’t think everything is hunky dory. You must nail down your citizenship.

Some Naturalization/Citizenship Certificate tips from me, the person who front-end processes these forms for half the country: the passport people are absolute garbage at sending your Naturalization Certificate back to you. Unfortunately, they also require it for you to get a passport. If you don’t get it back, whine at them about it and they will probably cover the cost of the replacement.  

Also! It takes up to 12 months to get a replacement certificate. If you urgently need your Natz Cert to visit your dying relative in another country, the word you want to use is ‘Expedite’. Not ‘ASAP’. Not ‘rush’. Expedite. Write a letter explaining why you need it expedited, if you do. Otherwise the USCIS data-entry grunts (me!) aren’t allowed to throw it into the expedite line and it gets relegated to the Backlog Crypts. 

Also! You need to get a new Naturalization Certificate if your name and/or gender legally changes, because a lot of places want your proof of citizenship for things like Social Security and student loans and Medicaid/EBT/welfare benefits and drivers’ licenses. 

ALSO ALSO both the N600 ($600) that you use to apply for your Naturalization Certificate in the first place and N565 ($345) that you use to apply for a replacement certificate are eligible for FEE WAIVERS. It’s called an I912. Learn it, love it, use it. 

Please for your sake make sure you are using the current version of the form. The most common reason I have to reject an N565 is because someone sent me something that expired in 2013. The current one is seven pages long. Please send the government all seven of them.
