Aren't you worried about supporting loona with the whole KPOP are in slave contracts and they don't make any money from their careers? I used to Stan 2NE1 but then I heard about slave contracts and all that. And how they are controlling everything they do. ☹️

I am aware of that but LOONA isn’t from a huge Kpop corporation/label. they’re from Blockberry Creative which is like a Korean indie label. they just happen to have a big budget since they’re a subsidiary of a mother company that deals with manufacturing industrial materials. They do handle some other groups but there hasn’t been any bad PR regarding BBC. and there is alot of content that shows that the girls are in good hands and are treated well like LoonaTV where you get to see a Behind the Scenes of the girls’ journey and you can tell they are happy to be in the group, are well fed, and genuinely having a great time. so i am confident that enjoying Loona is ethical consumption

2NE1 was part of YG Entertainment which is a BIG 3 company alongside JYP entertainment and SM entertainment. they are extremely popular companies that any band they put out will be instantly famous (which sucks tbh cause even if the group is mediocre.. i wont put down any names but one is from JYP who are super popular right now despite releasing the same recycled song.. ANYWAY…) but yeah, i’ve seen some dirt about these companies

tbh though let’s face it, in a capitalistic society, can we really expect that all celebrities are treated fairly? i mean there are western celebs too who have probably been under these types of contracts.. it sucks but at the end of the day, these people are working hard and even if you boycott it, majority will still consume their music. it’s just the way it is :/
