Digital Silver

@heathawk13 / heathawk13.tumblr.com

Welcome to Digital Silver, This is my Photo blog. I feel that sites like Facebook aren't too friendly to the works of photos I've been doing. I want to share some of my works both old and new and I hope you all will enjoy them. Keep in mind that some of my works are NSFW.

Good lord I still have this thing?! I think I’ll be coming here seeing that Twitter is a real mess these days. Things will also be a little less kinky, I havent been as active but I got other shit I’ll post.

Alternatives to Tumblr if Yahoo goes any further

  1. Soup.io - well-known alternative to Tumblr. Reblogging, post types, themes, collab blogs, dashboard, artsy, great community already there. Soup can auto-import everything you’ve posted on Tumblr.
  2. TypePad - Includes reblogging. Dashboard and post types similar to Tumblr.
  3. Jux - Artful posts, beautiful blogging experience

Reblogging cause one day it just may be neccessary.

It became necessary

OMG, she’s turning purple! YR DOIN’ IT WRONG!

So I’ve posted this on Fetlife, but it seems relevant to put it here too.

If you’re someone who does rope bondage and posts photos, it’s almost a given that you’ve received comments like this: “Is no one going to comment that she’s turning purple? Loosen it up!” “Those arms are way too tight! You’re causing cell death!” “Are their legs supposed to be that color?” “That’s so scary, watch that purple leg!” These usually come from (what I assume are) well intentioned but uninformed people with little to no knowledge of rope bondage and suspension. I’d like to offer a response I’ve used before. *“Repeat after me: purple limbs do not necessarily indicate danger. Purple limbs do not mean rope is “too tight.” Purple limbs are a minor concern comparedy to some of the actual physical risks of rope bondage and suspension. Discoloration is not a good indicator of nerve damage. Purple limbs do not give you the right to yell at someone on the Internet because you think you know better than them.” Ties often need to be tight because that actually makes the tie safer, especially regarding suspensions. Any time you restrict circulation, you’re going to get some discoloration. It’s how blood flow works. Some people turn purple, red, or blue at the slightest pressure - some don’t. ITS ALMOST NEVER A CAUSE FOR ALARM. There are other, much more pressing risks associated with rope than some discoloration. If you know nothing about rope, please don’t leave these comments. They’re annoying, repetitive, and condescending. Most experienced bottoms and riggers are extremely risk aware and know what they’re doing. All you’re doing is making yourself look ignorant. Find a better way to channel your “concern”. Or better yet, ask questions and educate yourself! Shrimp out. (NOTE: since it’s been mentioned a few times, I will clarify: this is NOT directed at people who are genuinely trying to learn and understand. I will never tell people not to question things they’re unsure of or curious about, and in fact encourage it.

I strongly support research, self-education, and asking questions. “All knowledge is worth having.” This writing IS a response to those who have no experience or expertise in the matter, and instead of attempting to learn more about it, choose to be judgmental and condescending.)

Always relevant.

For the people in the back who keep telling me I’m going to lose a limb.

We had an amazing time in Tucson. Spent the weekend at the @hotelcongress. 2nd time staying there. Thank you @lifeofpieper & @dron6 for hanging out with us and showing us around all weekend. Your blog is beautiful. It's so hard to find any with male rope bottoms. Can you recommend any more?

Building onto this as I keep going through the world of tumblr. I follow this account through instagram and I just found out about there’s an account here.

@reraizure has some amazing photography and some wonderful male bodied bottoms. If you havent had the chance to check them out do yourself a favor and go!

This morning Heading into my office a Capital Police officer stops me and points to my Puerto Rican flag patch on my bag. Asks me where I'm from and I give him a quick over view. He open up his shirt and shows me his PR flag patch on his kevlar vest and says I'm Puerto Rican and proud. It's moments like these that remind me why I have that patch and that we try and stick together. #🇵🇷 #proudpuertorican #soyboricuaymiamorespuertorico

ever did a videO of the shin caning? what implements do you like to take, and do you get bruised?

Ive not done a video of the shin caning but Id be down for that. Hmm I may have to make that a reality.

Umm I like to take canes? To be more specific rattan and acrylic canes are lovely.

I dont bruise easy, you gotta really go at it for those to show up. My Latinx skin does not lend itself well to bruising.
